Good morning,
Canada vaccines/ Astra Zeneca
Astra Zeneca’s vaccine has become so controversial that a number of countries are not giving the vaccine because of questionable blood clots.
Let me say I have had the first dose of Astra Zeneca in England, and am due to receive the next dose in May. I will take it, but based on statistics, younger people, especially females will think twice.
Originally European Countries followed by many others suspended the vaccine rollout because of blood clot concerns. Then the European Medicines Agency said the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks, but the agency's safety committee has also said it can't rule out a potential link with a "small number of cases" of a rare clotting disorder occurring after the vaccination.
In Germany, Berlin and Munich have suspended the vaccine in under 60’s as a precaution after the country's medical regulator announced 31 cases of rare blood clots in people who had recently received the vaccine. Nine of the people died. All but two of the cases involved women aged 20 to 63, the report said, adding that representatives from all of Germany's 16 states will meet soon to discuss the jab. It’s important to note 31 cases after millions of people have taken the vaccine is a small number.
Now Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization said "there is substantial uncertainty about the benefit of providing AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines to adults under 55 given the potential risks." Canada has been criticized for rolling out vaccines too slowly, and this won’t help. But to replace the Astra Zeneca, Canada will now get 5 million doses of Pfizer several months earlier and says all willing Canadians will be vaccinated by September.
The Country’s Prime Minister, Trudeau urges Canadians take the first vaccine you are offered.

Obviously even if Astra Zeneca is cleared by Canada in the coming weeks, many people will be cautious about taking that vaccine - a huge confidence issue about Covid vaccines deepens, and just when people need to take the vaccines to prevent illness and slow down mutations.

CDC Warning
The U.S. is following the surge in Covid cases now in Europe and the Director of the Centres for DiseaseControl Rochelle Walensky is warning of “impending doom” as some states and many Americans have dropped mask wearing protocols and opened restaurants and businesses despite the dangers. President Biden said stop playing politics with Covid and bring back mask mandates.
American is now in a fourth deadly pandemic wave. After weeks of decline followed by a plateau, the numbers of coronavirus cases seem to be rising again in the U.S. Over the past week, there has been 65,000 cases per day, an increase of 19 percent from the average two weeks earlier.

The Wuhan Lab
As I reported in November The Wuhan had a history of experimenting with ‘gain of function’ of Sars disease taken from bats, and no one knows if those experiments were still continuing when Covid19 broke out in Wuhan, China. The WHO report clearing the lab has now been called into question. The United States, Britain, South Korea, Israel, Japan and others issued a statement Tuesday expressing concern. “Together, we support a transparent and independent analysis and evaluation, free from interference and undue influence,” it reads.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a news conference that the mission was denied access to crucial data and therefore presented “a partial and incomplete picture.”
On Back Story we interviewed two experts, with alternative views on the lab, but at least one thinks the lab was the source of the outbreak, and that the development of Covid must have taken place months and months before December 2019.
This is worth listening to.

George Floyd
The murder trial of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is being carried live across America and witness testimony is disturbing and compelling. On the street people watched Chauvin kneel on George Floyds neck for over 9 minutes, and everyone but the officer seemed to understand Floyd was dying, who at first pleading for his life then lost consciousness and then even then Chauvin continued kneel on Floyd. Whats important so far is that police are in charge of the custody and care of anyone under arrest. Chauvin should have known Floyd was dying, but will a jury convict? That’s why justice in America is on trial in this case, not only Derek Chauvin.
The defense will mount a case that George Floyd has taken drugs and had a physical history that could have contributed to his death, but is there any question the police showed no regard for his pleas “I can’t breathe” and should be convicted of murder?
