Good Morning,
Street Riots France
The mother of a 17 yr old boy who was shot at point blank range in Paris Tuesday, has said she thought the death was racially motivated, but she did not bear a grudge against the force as a whole.
"I don't blame the police, I blame one person: the one who took the life of my son," Mounia told the France 5 channel in her first media interview since the shooting on Tuesday morning.
The officer "saw an Arab face, a little kid, and wanted to take his life," she said.
A 38 yr old policeman has been charged with homicide after videos show him firing into the windshield of a car the teenager was driving, as it attempted to escape.
The shooting has sparked 3 nights of rioting and looting across France. Forty thousand police officers were deployed Thursday night - nearly four times the numbers mobilized on Wednesday - with riots in Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse and Lille.
Amid violent clashes between police and protestors, some 421 people were arrested.
Missing Russian General
Where is the well known Russian General Sergei Surovikin?
He’s the Russian general who reportedly had advanced knowledge of the Wagner rebellion and has not been seen since the armed mutiny unfolded on Saturday.
General Sergei Surovikin was replaced as the top commander earlier this year but retained influence in running war operations.
And by the way the man who led the Wagner march on Moscow, Yevgeny Prigozhin has also not been seen, although the President of Belarus claimed he had arrived in his country.
The Kremlin is trying to revive President Putin’s image of someone beloved by the people, holding organized public meetings where Putin is seen surrounded by fans. But Putin has looked weak and removed during the crisis this past weekend which shook Russia.

Now a bizarre plan to export refugees from Britain to Rwanda has been ruled illegal by the courts. Court of appeal judges have ruled that it is unlawful to send asylum seekers to have their claims processed in Rwanda. The government would now seek permission to appeal against the decision at the supreme court as the UK Prime Minister insisted that Rwanda was a safe country. The Rwanda policy has been heralded by human rights groups as illegal and immoral.
